Bellingham to Seattle and Sheeran

We were packed and ready to leave by 9.15, as instructed.  As Kevin wheeled my large suitcase out he said "Here comes the beast".  Unfortunately he was walking towards the stairwell as he said it and Kate was just emerging at the top of the stairs.  Great timing.

We had brunch at a local diner with Kev's family to celebrate dad Gary's birthday.  Great food, generous and entertaining bunch!

Then we drove to the condo in Seattle, settled in quickly before being on the move again.  Afternoon stroll to Pike's Market, dinner at Deadline (worst service ever, but the bouncer dude had the most gorgeous deep voice) then Joan, Kevin and I went to the Ed Sheeran concert.

Part of our homeward journey was in a cycle kart and the rider ignored red lights, rode up on the pavement and even crossed to the wrong side of the road at least twice.  Hair raising indeed.
